This is factually incorrect. The CBC is a Government controlled and owned Crown Corporation, unless you are trying to say CBC is privately run and funded? In fact, as you must know, even the CEO of CBC is always DIRECTLY appointed (not elected by the public or even an election within the government) by the Prime Minister. It sounds as if the government and PM have a lot more control over CBC than you do, unless you have the power to appoint the CEO of CBC.

I've seen lots of criticism in the Chinese media, I have no idea where you get your ideas from that they aren't based on facts. I've found more information in the Chinese media than the Western Media about this event especially.

You can make a play on words, but it is still state-run and controlled media, it's just that in North America, this term only applies to countries our governments do not like.

It is also incorrect that CBC just does "reprinting", although CBC does mainly use the Associated Press you should notice the term "With files from", which means just as any other media outlet, they have spun and rewritten the article as they have seen fit.

CBC is also very selective about what it does and does not publish, so much that you'd think we are communist country.

I don't know why people like to state their opinions as fact.
