Full Article:

With so many of the world events showing that some Muslims have lost the fundamentals I would like to provide some ayyats that describe the fundamentals of doing good deeds as one of the requirements of success in both worlds and that doing the opposite (evil deeds) results in the hellfire.

But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness, that their portion is Gardens, beneath which rivers flow. Every time they are fed with fruits therefrom, they say: "Why, this is what we were fed with before," for they are given things in similitude; and they have therein companions pure (and holy); and they abide therein (for ever). - 2:25 (Y. Ali)

But those who have faith and work righteousness, they are companions of the Garden: Therein shall they abide (For ever). - 2:82 (Y. Ali)

Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. - 2:277 (Y. Ali)

As to those who believe and work righteousness, Allah will pay them (in full) their reward; but Allah loveth not those who do wrong." - 3:57 (Y. Ali)

They believe in Allah and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous. - 3:114 (Y. Ali)

But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, We shall soon admit to Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal home: Therein shall they have companions pure and holy: We shall admit them to shades, cool and ever deepening. - 4:57 (Y. Ali)

If any do deeds of righteousness,- be they male or female - and have faith, they will enter Heaven, and not the least injustice will be done to them. - 4:124 (Y. Ali)

To those who believe and do deeds of righteousness hath Allah promised forgiveness and a great reward. - 5:9 (Y. Ali)

On those who believe and do deeds of righteousness there is no blame for what they ate (in the past), when they guard themselves from evil, and believe, and do deeds of righteousness,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and believe,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and do good. For Allah loveth those who do good. - 5:93 (Y. Ali)

And establish regular prayers at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night: For those things, that are good remove those that are evil: Be that the word of remembrance to those who remember (their Lord): - 11:114 (Y. Ali)

As to those who believe and work righteous deeds, they have, for their entertainment, the Gardens of Paradise, - 18:107 (Y. Ali)

"And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." - 19:76 (Y. Ali)

But such as come to Him as Believers who have worked righteous deeds,- for them are ranks exalted,- - 20:75 (Y. Ali)

So We listened to him: and We granted him Yahya: We cured his wife's (Barrenness) for him. These (three) were ever quick in emulation in good works; they used to call on Us with love and reverence, and humble themselves before Us. - 21:90 (Y. Ali)

Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. - 21:94 (Y. Ali)

Verily Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens, beneath which rivers flow: for Allah carries out all that He plans. - 22:14 (Y. Ali)

Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow: they shall be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments there will be of silk. - 22:23 (Y. Ali)

Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: - 23:102 (Y. Ali)

But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. - 23:103 (Y. Ali)

Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, - 25:70 (Y. Ali)

For those who believe and do righteous deeds are Gardens as hospitable homes, for their (good) deeds. - 32:19 (Y. Ali)

Therein will they cry aloud (for assistance): "Our Lord! Bring us out: we shall work righteousness, not the (deeds) we used to do!" - "Did We not give you long enough life so that he that would should receive admonition? and (moreover) the warner came to you. So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds): for the wrong-doers there is no helper." - 35:37 (Y. Ali

And He listens to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, and gives them increase of His Bounty: but for the Unbelievers their is a terrible Penalty. - 42:26 (Y. Ali)

and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good". - 63:10 (Y. Ali)

An Messenger, who rehearses to you the Signs of Allah containing clear explanations, that he may lead forth those who believe and do righteous deeds from the depths of Darkness into Light. And those who believe in Allah and work righteousness, He will admit to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: Allah has indeed granted for them a most excellent Provision. - 65:11 (Y. Ali)

Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, - 101:6 (Y. Ali)

Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. - 101:7 (Y. Ali)

But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- - 101:8 (Y. Ali)

Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. - 101:9 (Y. Ali)

    Facts About Islam

The Same Religion As Abraham, Moses, and Jesus

Muslims believe that Islam started long before the Prophet Muhammad's time and was the same religion taught by the previous religions and Prophets.

Qur'an 42:13 The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him).
